Poonch District, Jammu And Kashmir

Poonch District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 240 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Poonch. Gojri, Pahari and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,674 km², including 1,649.92 km² of rural area and 24.08 km² of urban area.
