Nowshera Tehsil - Rajouri, Jammu And Kashmir

Nowshera is an administrative tehsil in the Rajouri district of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It includes various villages governed through Gram Panchayats and is a key part of the district's rural administration. Nowshera is the main town for most villages within the tehsil.

The total area of the tehsil is 482 km², including 477.40 km² rural area and 4.63 km² urban area. The sex ratio is approximately 783 females per 1,000 males.
