East Singhbum District, Jharkhand

East Singhbum District is an administrative district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is situated about 130 km from Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. The district headquarters is located at Jamshedpur. Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Santhali and Ho are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,562 km², including 3,373.63 km² of rural area and 188.37 km² of urban area.
