Bidar

Bidar is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Bidar is 5,448 km² including 5,283.27 km² rural area and 164.73 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bidar has a population of 17,03,300 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,25,952 while rural population is 12,77,348. Bidar has a sex ratio of approximately 956 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 313 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,19,937 houses in the district, including 79,958 urban houses and 2,39,979 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 595 villages in bidar district.
