Bijapur is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Bijapur is 10,498 km² including 10,234.53 km² rural area and 263.47 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bijapur has a population of 21,77,331 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,01,978 while rural population is 16,75,353.
