Davanagere

Davanagere is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Davanagere is 5,924 km² including 5,780.31 km² rural area and 143.69 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Davanagere has a population of 19,45,497 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,29,010 while rural population is 13,16,487. Davanagere has a sex ratio of approximately 972 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 328 inhabitants per square kilometre.
