Dharwad is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Dharwad is 4,260 km² including 3,958.91 km² rural area and 301.09 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dharwad has a population of 18,47,023 peoples, out of which urban population is 10,49,539 while rural population is 7,97,484.
