Gulbarga

Gulbarga is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Gulbarga is 10,954 km² including 10,686.40 km² rural area and 267.60 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Gulbarga has a population of 25,66,326 peoples, out of which urban population is 8,35,551 while rural population is 17,30,775. Gulbarga has a sex ratio of approximately 971 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 234 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,71,601 houses in the district, including 1,58,721 urban houses and 3,12,880 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 871 villages in gulbarga district.
