Haveri

Haveri is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Haveri is 4,823 km² including 4,679.60 km² rural area and 143.40 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Haveri has a population of 15,97,668 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,55,501 while rural population is 12,42,167. Haveri has a sex ratio of approximately 950 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 331 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,30,414 houses in the district, including 73,219 urban houses and 2,57,195 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 696 villages in haveri district.
