Ramanagara is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Ramanagara is 3,516 km² including 3,473.56 km² rural area and 42.44 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ramanagara has a population of 10,82,636 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,67,759 while rural population is 8,14,877. The district has a population density of 308 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,60,533 houses in the district, including 60,860 urban houses and 1,99,673 rural houses.
