Ramanagara

Ramanagara is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Ramanagara is 3,516 km² including 3,473.56 km² rural area and 42.44 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ramanagara has a population of 10,82,636 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,67,759 while rural population is 8,14,877. Ramanagara has a sex ratio of approximately 975 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 308 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,60,533 houses in the district, including 60,860 urban houses and 1,99,673 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 820 villages in ramanagara district.
