Uttara Kannada

Uttara Kannada is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Uttara Kannada is 10,277 km² including 10,024.22 km² rural area and 252.78 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Uttara Kannada has a population of 14,37,169 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,18,981 while rural population is 10,18,188. Uttara Kannada has a sex ratio of approximately 978 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 140 inhabitants per square kilometre.
