Yadgir

Yadgir is a district in the Karnataka State of India. Total area of Yadgir is 5,270 km² including 5,169.17 km² rural area and 100.83 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Yadgir has a population of 11,74,271 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,20,677 while rural population is 9,53,594. Yadgir has a sex ratio of approximately 989 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 223 inhabitants per square kilometre.
