Barwani District, Madhya Pradesh

Barwani District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 290 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Barwani. Hindi and Bhili are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,427 km², including 5,326.26 km² of rural area and 100.74 km² of urban area.
