Punasa is an administrative tehsil in the Khandwa (East Nimar) district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It includes various villages governed through Gram Panchayats and is a key part of the district's rural administration. Punasa is the main town for most villages within the tehsil. The nearest railway station is situated at Bir, while the nearest airport is Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, located at an approximate aerial distance of 67.8 km.
