Sehore

Sehore is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Sehore is 6,578 km² including 6,479.60 km² rural area and 98.40 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sehore has a population of 13,11,332 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,48,462 while rural population is 10,62,870. Sehore has a sex ratio of approximately 917 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 199.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,57,311 houses in the district, including 46,843 urban houses and 2,10,468 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,031 villages in sehore district.

The Sehore district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
