Amravati
Amravati is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Amravati is 12,210 km² including 11,967.64 km² rural area and 242.36 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Amravati has a population of 28,88,445 peoples, out of which urban population is 10,37,287 while rural population is 18,51,158. Amravati has a sex ratio of approximately 950 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 236.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,47,451 houses in the district, including 2,17,169 urban houses and 4,30,282 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,637 villages in amravati district.
