Amravati
Amravati is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. The total area of Amravati district is 12,210 km², which includes 11,967.64 km² of rural area and 242.36 km² of urban area. There are about 1,637 villages in Amravati district.
For administrative convenience, Amravati district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
