Bhandara

Bhandara is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Bhandara is 4,087 km² including 4,014.66 km² rural area and 72.34 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bhandara has a population of 12,00,334 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,33,831 while rural population is 9,66,503. Bhandara has a sex ratio of approximately 982 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 293.7 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,78,076 houses in the district, including 53,143 urban houses and 2,24,933 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 771 villages in bhandara district.
