Chandrapur District, Maharashtra
Chandrapur is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The district is located about 780 km from Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Its administrative headquarters is in Chandrapur. Marathi, Hindi and Gondi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 11,443 km², including 11,152.40 km² of rural area and 290.60 km² of urban area.
