Chandrapur

Chandrapur is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Chandrapur is 11,443 km² including 11,152.40 km² rural area and 290.60 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Chandrapur has a population of 22,04,307 peoples, out of which urban population is 7,75,378 while rural population is 14,28,929. Chandrapur has a sex ratio of approximately 961 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 192.6 inhabitants per square kilometre.
