Osmanabad is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Osmanabad is 7,569 km² including 7,439.99 km² rural area and 129.01 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Osmanabad has a population of 16,57,576 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,81,057 while rural population is 13,76,519. The district has a population density of 219 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,51,281 houses in the district, including 54,787 urban houses and 2,96,494 rural houses.
