Parbhani is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Parbhani is 6,214 km² including 6,101.11 km² rural area and 112.89 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Parbhani has a population of 18,36,086 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,69,806 while rural population is 12,66,280. The district has a population density of 295.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,61,130 houses in the district, including 1,04,731 urban houses and 2,56,399 rural houses.
