Ribhoi

Ribhoi is a district in the Meghalaya State of India. Total area of Ribhoi is 2,448 km² including 2,390.02 km² rural area and 57.98 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ribhoi has a population of 2,58,840 peoples, out of which urban population is 25,253 while rural population is 2,33,587. Ribhoi has a sex ratio of approximately 953 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 105.7 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 46,872 houses in the district, including 4,460 urban houses and 42,412 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 579 villages in ribhoi district.
