Mokokchung

Mokokchung is a district in the Nagaland State of India. Total area of Mokokchung is 1,615 km² including 1,587.50 km² rural area and 27.50 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mokokchung has a population of 1,94,622 peoples, out of which urban population is 55,725 while rural population is 1,38,897. Mokokchung has a sex ratio of approximately 925 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 120.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 42,690 houses in the district, including 12,730 urban houses and 29,960 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 107 villages in mokokchung district.
