Rayagada

Rayagada is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Rayagada is 7,073 km² including 7,004.34 km² rural area and 68.66 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rayagada has a population of 9,67,911 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,46,966 while rural population is 8,20,945. Rayagada has a sex ratio of approximately 1050 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 136.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,26,144 houses in the district, including 34,576 urban houses and 1,91,568 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,468 villages in rayagada district.
