Barnala

Barnala is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Barnala is 1,482 km² including 1,431.25 km² rural area and 50.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Barnala has a population of 5,95,527 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,90,685 while rural population is 4,04,842. Barnala has a sex ratio of approximately 875 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 402 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,15,798 houses in the district, including 39,141 urban houses and 76,657 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 127 villages in barnala district.
