Barnala

Barnala is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Barnala is 1,482 km² including 1,431.25 km² rural area and 50.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Barnala has a population of 5,95,527 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,90,685 while rural population is 4,04,842. Barnala has a sex ratio of approximately 875 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 402 inhabitants per square kilometre.
