Bathinda is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Bathinda is 3,353 km² including 3,193.91 km² rural area and 159.09 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bathinda has a population of 13,88,525 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,99,217 while rural population is 8,89,308. Bathinda has a sex ratio of approximately 868 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 414 inhabitants per square kilometre.
