Fatehgarh Sahib is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Fatehgarh Sahib is 1,180 km² including 1,102.33 km² rural area and 77.67 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Fatehgarh Sahib has a population of 6,00,163 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,85,482 while rural population is 4,14,681. Fatehgarh Sahib has a sex ratio of approximately 870 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 509 inhabitants per square kilometre.
