Jalandhar is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Jalandhar is 2,624 km² including 2,380.79 km² rural area and 243.21 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Jalandhar has a population of 21,93,590 peoples, out of which urban population is 11,61,171 while rural population is 10,32,419.
