Rupnagar

Rupnagar is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Rupnagar is 1,356 km² including 1,300.40 km² rural area and 55.60 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rupnagar has a population of 6,84,627 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,77,807 while rural population is 5,06,820. Rupnagar has a sex ratio of approximately 915 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 505 inhabitants per square kilometre.
