Tarn Taran District, Punjab

Tarn Taran District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 195 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Tarn Taran Sahib. Punjabi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,414 km², including 2,379.67 km² of rural area and 34.33 km² of urban area.
