Alwar

Alwar is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Alwar is 8,380 km² including 8,146.42 km² rural area and 233.58 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Alwar has a population of 36,74,179 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,54,451 while rural population is 30,19,728. Alwar has a sex ratio of approximately 894 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 438 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,39,720 houses in the district, including 1,28,203 urban houses and 5,11,517 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,021 villages in alwar district.
