Banswara

Banswara is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Banswara is 4,522 km² including 4,494.25 km² rural area and 27.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Banswara has a population of 17,97,485 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,27,621 while rural population is 16,69,864. Banswara has a sex ratio of approximately 980 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 397 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,67,797 houses in the district, including 27,521 urban houses and 3,40,276 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,485 villages in banswara district.
