Barmer District, Rajasthan

Barmer is an administrative district in Rajasthan, India. The district is located about 570 km from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Its administrative headquarters is in Barmer. Hindi, Sindhi and Rajasthani are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 28,387 km², including 28,320.00 km² of rural area and 67.00 km² of urban area.
