Bharatpur

Bharatpur is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Bharatpur is 5,066 km² including 4,916.38 km² rural area and 149.62 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bharatpur has a population of 25,48,462 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,95,099 while rural population is 20,53,363. Bharatpur has a sex ratio of approximately 879 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 503 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,25,414 houses in the district, including 86,725 urban houses and 3,38,689 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,432 villages in bharatpur district.
