Kota

Kota is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Kota is 5,217 km² including 4,590.49 km² rural area and 626.51 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kota has a population of 19,51,014 peoples, out of which urban population is 11,76,604 while rural population is 7,74,410. Kota has a sex ratio of approximately 910 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 374 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,96,501 houses in the district, including 2,45,150 urban houses and 1,51,351 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 805 villages in kota district.
