Rajsamand

Rajsamand is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Rajsamand is 4,655 km² including 4,488.84 km² rural area and 166.16 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rajsamand has a population of 11,56,597 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,83,820 while rural population is 9,72,777. Rajsamand has a sex ratio of approximately 989 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 248 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,43,078 houses in the district, including 37,200 urban houses and 2,05,878 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,037 villages in rajsamand district.
