Sikar

Sikar is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Sikar is 7,732 km² including 7,462.87 km² rural area and 269.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sikar has a population of 26,77,333 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,33,906 while rural population is 20,43,427. Sikar has a sex ratio of approximately 947 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 346 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,44,816 houses in the district, including 99,656 urban houses and 3,45,160 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,162 villages in sikar district.
