Udaipur is a district in the Rajasthan State of India. Total area of Udaipur is 11,724 km² including 11,543.39 km² rural area and 180.61 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Udaipur has a population of 30,68,420 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,08,426 while rural population is 24,59,994. The district has a population density of 262 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,23,531 houses in the district, including 1,27,558 urban houses and 4,95,973 rural houses.
