Dhalai

Dhalai is a district in the Tripura State of India. Total area of Dhalai is 2,400 km² including 2,364.29 km² rural area and 35.71 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dhalai has a population of 3,78,230 peoples, out of which urban population is 40,499 while rural population is 3,37,731. Dhalai has a sex ratio of approximately 944 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 157.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 84,509 houses in the district, including 10,105 urban houses and 74,404 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 148 villages in dhalai district.

The Dhalai district is further divided in to Subdivisions / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
