Agra

Agra is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Agra is 4,041 km² including 3,793.04 km² rural area and 247.96 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Agra has a population of 44,18,797 peoples, out of which urban population is 20,24,195 while rural population is 23,94,602. Agra has a sex ratio of approximately 868 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1093 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,10,566 houses in the district, including 3,38,775 urban houses and 3,71,791 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 893 villages in agra district.
