Auraiya

Auraiya is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Auraiya is 2,016 km² including 1,952.63 km² rural area and 63.37 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Auraiya has a population of 13,79,545 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,34,222 while rural population is 11,45,323. Auraiya has a sex ratio of approximately 864 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 684 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,48,197 houses in the district, including 42,033 urban houses and 2,06,164 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 769 villages in auraiya district.
