Baghpat

Baghpat is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Baghpat is 1,321 km² including 1,271.92 km² rural area and 49.08 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Baghpat has a population of 13,03,048 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,75,025 while rural population is 10,28,023. Baghpat has a sex ratio of approximately 861 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 986 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,09,916 houses in the district, including 45,422 urban houses and 1,64,494 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 290 villages in baghpat district.
