Bahraich is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Bahraich is 5,237 km² including 5,205.74 km² rural area and 31.26 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bahraich has a population of 34,87,731 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,84,044 while rural population is 32,03,687. Bahraich has a sex ratio of approximately 891 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 666 inhabitants per square kilometre.
