Bareilly is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Bareilly is 4,120 km² including 3,841.93 km² rural area and 278.07 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bareilly has a population of 44,48,359 peoples, out of which urban population is 15,68,409 while rural population is 28,79,950. The district has a population density of 1080 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,56,784 houses in the district, including 2,75,745 urban houses and 4,81,039 rural houses.
