Budaun

Budaun is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Budaun is 5,168 km² including 4,985.13 km² rural area and 182.87 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Budaun has a population of 36,81,896 peoples, out of which urban population is 6,44,595 while rural population is 30,37,301. Budaun has a sex ratio of approximately 871 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 712 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,15,776 houses in the district, including 1,10,285 urban houses and 5,05,491 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,785 villages in budaun district.

The Budaun district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
