Chandauli is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Chandauli is 2,541 km² including 2,487.28 km² rural area and 53.72 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Chandauli has a population of 19,52,756 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,42,553 while rural population is 17,10,203. The district has a population density of 768 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,96,804 houses in the district, including 37,675 urban houses and 2,59,129 rural houses.
