Chandauli District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 310 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Chandauli. Hindi and Bhojpuri are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,541 km², including 2,487.28 km² of rural area and 53.72 km² of urban area.
