Etah

Etah is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Etah is 2,431 km² including 2,392.79 km² rural area and 38.21 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Etah has a population of 17,74,480 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,68,142 while rural population is 15,06,338. Etah has a sex ratio of approximately 873 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 730 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,90,683 houses in the district, including 44,995 urban houses and 2,45,688 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 853 villages in etah district.
