Etawah

Etawah is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Etawah is 2,311 km² including 2,260.42 km² rural area and 50.58 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Etawah has a population of 15,81,810 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,66,299 while rural population is 12,15,511. Etawah has a sex ratio of approximately 870 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 684 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,77,527 houses in the district, including 63,979 urban houses and 2,13,548 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 686 villages in etawah district.
