Faizabad

Faizabad is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Faizabad is 2,341 km² including 2,266.23 km² rural area and 74.77 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Faizabad has a population of 24,70,996 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,40,253 while rural population is 21,30,743. Faizabad has a sex ratio of approximately 961 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1056 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,23,375 houses in the district, including 57,664 urban houses and 3,65,711 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,235 villages in faizabad district.
