Ghaziabad District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 510 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Ghaziabad. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,179 km², including 777.91 km² of rural area and 401.09 km² of urban area.
