Ghazipur

Ghazipur is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Ghazipur is 3,377 km² including 3,312.67 km² rural area and 64.33 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ghazipur has a population of 36,20,268 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,74,360 while rural population is 33,45,908. Ghazipur has a sex ratio of approximately 951 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1072 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,46,664 houses in the district, including 41,569 urban houses and 5,05,095 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,740 villages in ghazipur district.
